Fáilte Ireland’s new online learning course, Introduction to Tourism.

This practical and informative FREE learning course is designed to support businesses that are:

• Starting a new tourism business (e.g. activity providers such as bike hire, walking/hiking tours or attractions such as museums, galleries, distilleries), or
• Expanding into tourism from an existing business (e.g. a whiskey manufacturer starting distillery tours, or a cheese producer adding a visitor experience offering on their farm).

What does the course provide?

The course provides a comprehensive overview of Ireland’s tourism landscape, insights into tourist motivations and behaviours, and guidance on identifying and communicating a unique selling proposition (USP) as a tourism business.

Is the course being held in person or online?

The course is available through learniFI - Fáilte Ireland’s online learning hub - which offers free access to learning modules, resources, and toolkits for tourism businesses of all sizes and stages.
