TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

Section 75 Roads Act, 1993

(Roads Regulations 1994)

Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to close;

Magdelane Street (L1666-86) from its junction with King Street (L16643-75) to its junction with Sundays Gate (L-1665-87)

To vehicular traffic between the hours 9am to 4pm each day from Tuesday 19^th November, 2024 to Friday 22^nd November, 2024 (roads will be open outside these hours) to facilitate road resurfacing works on Magdelane Street (L1666-86). Local access and emergency access will be maintained.

Diversion Route South: South Bound traffic approaching Magdelane Street will be diverted south along King Street (L16643-75), west along William Street (L16741-80) to its junction with Magdelane Street (L1675-85)

Diversion Route North: North Bound Traffic approaching King Street (L16643-75) will be diverted west along William Street (L16741-80) to its junction with Magdelane Street (L1675-85) and north along Sundays Gate (L-1665-87)

Any person who wishes to object to this closure should lodge an objection in writing (envelope clearly marked “Road Closure Objection”) to the undersigned or via Louth County Council’s Online Consultation Portal using the following link https://consult.louthcoco.ie/en/consultation/notice-intention-close-roads-drogheda not later than 5pm on Friday 8^th November, 2024.
